Automatic Boot File Defrag

One way to speed up the booting process is often defrag windows boot file. Windows Vista is more intelligent than XP and earlier version. One way to ensure that windows vista has been defrag boot files when running disk defragment is :
1. Access the Registry Editor
Go to Start menu => Run => type Regedit, Enter.

2. Find the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOptimizeFunction

3. See the panel on the right side.
There are key: Enable
Double-click the key and make sure that the Value Data was Y.

If it is correct Y then leave alone.

This is only to ensure it.

click Ok and close the registry editor.
